Grøne Oldenzaal Horologium
The Grøne Oldenzaal Horologium is a new hand-wound dress watch from the Grönefeld brothers' more accessible brand, Grøne Oldenzaal. It shares design cues with the Grönefeld 1941 Principia but features a smaller seconds sub-dial and a modified La Joux-Perret movement. The watch is available in two distinct variants: Quirky and Classic.
- Limited to 188 pieces per variant
- Price: EUR 2,390 excluding VAT
- Available for order on 13 August 2026
- Deliveries expected from mid-September onwards
The case features a polished concave bezel, brushed flanks, downward-curving stepped lugs, and a conical crown, with sapphire crystals protected by distinctive orange gaskets.
The Quirky version has a Dutch orange center section with baby blue accents and a light blue leather strap with orange stitching, while the Classic version features a sunray-brushed salmon dial with silver-toned accents and a dark brown leather strap.
Time is displayed using classic Grönefeld heat-blued hands and diamond-cut, high-polished applied markers, with a small seconds counter on a raised diamond-cut plateau.
The hand-wound La Joux-Perret movement is decorated with Geneva stripes, diamond-cut bevels, and blued screws.
The caseback of the Quirky edition includes the Dutch inscription “ Zoals het klokje thuis tikt, tikt het nergens ”.
