Credor Locomotive “Dawn Blue” GCCR995
Credor has unveiled the Locomotive “Dawn Blue” ref. GCCR995, a new iteration of its flagship sports model originally designed by Gerald Genta. This release marks Credor's debut at Watches & Wonders, featuring an embossed dial with a hexagonal motif and a unique integrated-unintegrated titanium bracelet.
- Water resistance: 100 m
The "Dawn Blue" edition features an embossed dial with a repeating hexagon motif, with grooves oriented at different angles to create a shimmering effect that changes with light.
The Locomotive was originally designed by Gerald Genta in 1978 and is the only watch confirmed by Seiko and Genta's archives as an original Genta design.
The functional bezel bolts on the remake are used to clamp the watertight case together, similar to the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak.
The titanium bracelet features a unique construction where intermediate links sit inside a full-width link, achieved by press-fitting a titanium pin.
The bracelet links are chamfered on the top and sides, with a rounded, pillow-like shape on the wrist-facing side for comfort and ventilation.
The "Dawn Blue" color is said to symbolize the beginning of a bright future for Credor.
