Christopher Ward has introduced the C1 Loco Classic, a more refined dress watch built on the same architecture as the C12 Loco but with a softer aesthetic. It features a multi-level dial with a free-sprung balance wheel as the centerpiece and is powered by the CW-003 caliber with a 144-hour power reserve.
- Available in gold, light blue, and black dial variants
- Power reserve of 144 hours
- Starts at $5,995 on a strap
The "Light-catcher" case features a mix of high polished and brushed surfaces, with a pronounced groove running through the middle section and lugs, offering a curvy, rounded appearance.
The case height includes over 5mm for the domed crystal, with the case itself measuring 8.55mm thick.
The front and rear bridges of the CW-003 caliber have been redesigned to be slimmer and more rounded, mirroring the case's aesthetic.
The multi-level dial features a domed white ceramic section at 12:00 with Roman numerals for time telling.
The dial bases are sandblasted and varnished with a mother-of-pearl containing material, creating a densely packed textured surface with shifting character in changing light.
The baseplate of the CW-003 caliber features a grained gold plating that echoes the dial's finish.
Pricing ranges from $5,995 on a strap to $6,275 on a Consort bracelet.
