The Futur Antérieur's design is heavily inspired by Vianney Halter's rare and influential Antiqua watch from the late 1990s.
The watch features a new case design with a central cylinder, portholes at four and ten o'clock, articulating lugs, and contrast rivets around the perimeter.
The porthole at four o'clock displays the hours and minutes, while the porthole at ten o'clock shows the seconds, each powered by an independent Sellita SW100 movement.
The dials are layered and textured, featuring heat-blued hands in a style reminiscent of the Antiqua.
The use of two small, independent movements, with only one effectively displaying time, is described as a peculiar or baffling decision, potentially for aesthetic effect.
The watch measures 38mm in diameter and 8.85mm thick, with articulating lugs intended to improve wearability.
