Fayy Manman Panda Watch
Hong Kong-based brand Fayy debuts with the Manman Panda, a 39mm titanium watch featuring a hand-painted panda on the underside of its sapphire crystal using the traditional Chinese inner painting technique. The watch, entered in the GPHG 2026 Artistic Crafts category, displays time via separate discs to keep the artwork as the focal point and can be worn as a wristwatch or pendant.

The panda artwork, named Manman, is a fictional character developed with a chief designer of panda culture and a third-generation inner-painting artist.
Chinese inner painting is executed in reverse on the underside of the sapphire crystal, requiring meticulous planning as strokes cannot be altered.
The use of precision-sandblasted sapphire for the painting surface is more challenging for pigment adhesion but allows for finer detail.
The lugless case design allows the watch to be worn as a pendant using an included leather necklace.
The brand connects the watch's design to the Chinese concept of shí (時), which encompasses 'season' and 'circumstance' beyond just hours and minutes.
The watch features a folding clasp on the strap shaped like a panda paw.
