Vacheron Constantin Métiers d’Art The Legend of the Chinese Zodiac – Year of the Goat
Vacheron Constantin has introduced two limited-edition watches to commemorate the upcoming Year of the Goat in the Chinese zodiac. These timepieces combine intricate artistic craftsmanship with a unique hands-free display powered by an in-house calibre, leaving ample space for detailed dial artistry.
- Limited to 25 pieces per reference
- Price: upon request
The dial features a hand-sculpted goat and rock in gold, with relief engraving for fine details, set against a misty landscape created with multi-coloured Grand Feu enamel and miniature painting.
The in-house calibre 2460 G4 provides a hands-free display with trailing hours and minutes in apertures at 11 and 2 o’clock, and jumping day of the week and date in the lower apertures.
The movement is adorned with an openworked 22k yellow gold rotor featuring a polished Maltese Cross and bears the Hallmark of Geneva.
The watches are presented on hand-stitched alligator straps with matching gold folding clasps.
The goat symbolises strength, resilience, gentleness, loyalty, and good fortune in Chinese culture.
