Chinese manufacturer Peacock has introduced the Black Hole III Curved Guilloche Central Tourbillon, aiming to make the central tourbillon complication more accessible with a price under $5,000. The watch features a futuristic, lugless design in grade 5 titanium with a highly domed sapphire crystal, and a hand-guilloché dial inspired by warped spacetime.

The watch features a futuristic, flying-saucer-like design with a lugless case made of grade 5 titanium, available in black-coated or natural finishes.
A highly domed sapphire crystal wraps around the case to provide an optimal view of the dial and central regulator.
Time is indicated by two concentric titanium discs framing the tourbillon, with hours and minutes displayed.
The dial features a hand-crafted curved guilloché pattern named Gravitational Weave, with V-shaped grooves engraved on a concave, three-dimensional surface.
The in-house Caliber PAX9611A is a hand-wound movement with four barrels in series, measuring 35.6mm x 3.5mm, and features a central tourbillon cage weighing 0.46 grams.
The movement is decorated with a hand-guilloché pattern on the main bridge, requiring over 400 individual tool passes.
Two 70th Anniversary Special Edition models are available with two-tone guilloche rings, named 'Canis Major' (light-tone) and 'Perseus' (black-coated).
