Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar ProSet 140 Years Mercedes-Benz
IWC is commemorating the 140th anniversary of Mercedes-Benz with a new Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar ProSet. This limited edition model features a 42mm steel case and a black dial with gold appliques and hands, evoking the luxury of Maybach vehicles. A key innovation is the ProSet function, allowing the entire perpetual calendar to be adjusted via the crown, enhancing user convenience.
- Limited to 140 pieces
- Price: £32,100
The watch features a 42mm steel case with brushed sides and a polished bezel, incorporating the traditional oversized Big Pilot’s crown for ease of use with gloves.
The ProSet functionality allows the entire perpetual calendar display to be set using the crown, a significant improvement over traditional hidden pushers.
The black dial is accented with gold appliques and gold-plated hands, designed to reflect the luxury of Maybach vehicles.
The perpetual calendar's moonphase display is highly accurate, deviating by only one day every 1,040 years.
The calibre 82665 movement utilizes IWC’s Pellaton winding system, a silicon hairspring for reduced friction and improved anti-magnetic protection, and operates at 28,800 vph.
The price of £32,100 is £2,600 more than the standard steel Perpetual Calendar ProSet, attributed to the gold components and limited edition status.
