Seiko
Seiko's third-party supply version of the 4R35, sold to external watch brands and modders worldwide. Adds hacking and hand-winding over the 7S26 it effectively replaced. The NH35 has become the default automatic movement for watch modding and microbrand watches, thanks to its low cost, reliability, and wide availability of compatible parts including dials, hands, and cases in the Seiko-compatible format.

Owners widely praise the Addiesdive U.S. -ADDIESDIVE Retro Baton Hand Sub NH35 Dive Watch AD2086 for its impressive case finishing, often compared favorably to Seiko, and its bright, durable BGW9 lume. Many find it offers excellent value for its sub-$50 price, with some noting it rivals higher-priced models in case construction and overall looks. The secure screw-down crown and comfortable wearability are also frequently highlighted. However, the bracelet is often described as significantly inferior, rattly, and using push pins, with some owners questioning the actual water resistance for serious diving and the warranty's reliability. A reviewer noted a disappointing 12-hour power reserve and described the Mercedes hands as underwhelming and too short. Some owners express skepticism about the claimed water resistance ratings, and one owner noted the NH35 movement requires front disassembly for servicing. On balance, owners rate the Addiesdive U.S.
